Dit is een monte met drie kaarten: 2 zwarte en een rode aas.
Vertrekkend van dit simpele gegeven is het voor het publiek een koud kunstje om de rode aas te lokaliseren. Trouwens het palmeren van een kaart is in dit geval totaal uitgesloten want het gaat hier wel degelijk om 3 reuze jumbo kaarten gedrukt op stevig karton.
Na enkele zogenaamd “handige grepen” zit de rode aas steeds daar waar het publiek hem het minst verwacht, en dit staat borg voor enkele hilarische momenten.
Tenslotte wordt één zwarte kaart verwijderd en wordt het spel slechts met 2 kaarten gespeeld: een zwarte en een rode. Waar zit de rode aas: boven of onder? Wat het publiek ook roept, je houdt in je handen 2 zwarte kaarten, terwijl de rode aas de plaats heeft ingenomen van de zwarte kaart die je zopas hebt verwijderd!
Dit is niet zomaar een kleine close-up trick met 3 kaarten. Hier speel je het groot. Niet alleen door het formaat van de kaarten maar vooral door de geweldige impact die deze routine op het publiek heeft.
Een routine die zowel geschikt is om gepresenteerd te worden in een salon als op de scène. Je hebt hier een grote illusie in je handen met slechts 3 kaarten!
